Donna Fae (Phillips) Capps, 62, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., entered her heavenly home on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
Donna was born to John and Freda Phillips on Oct. 16, 1952.
She married James L. Capps on September 12, 1975. She was a member of the Third Baptist Church where she ministered alongside her husband, who is pastor.
She graduated from Poplar Bluff High School in 1970. She had worked at Sterlings, Bambi Bread, Falcon Cable and Enstar Cable. She loved to be around people and enjoyed reading her Bible.
Donna is survived by her husband, James; one daughter, Kimberly; her mother, Freda Phillips; one sister, Sharon Poe (Don) , her sister-in-law, Ruby Melton; brother-in-law, Jerry Capps (Terri); sister-in-law, Brenda Smith (Roy); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John Phillips; her father-in-law, Lonzo Capps and mother-in-law, Mary Capps and brother-in-law, James Moore.
Visitation will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Mayes and Rev. Jerry Capps officiating. Burial will be in the Little Brushy Cemetery, Lake Wappapello.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Gideons International.
