Earl Dunlap, 81, of Dexter died at 10 pm Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born March 25, 1934, at Bumcomb, Mo. Mr. Dunlap was a farmer. He had lived in the Naylor and Neelyville areas until he moved to Stoddard County in October 2014. His parents were Clarence Dunlap and Iva Hover.
He served on the Kinsey Cemetery Board for 50 years. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, gardening and he enjoyed Cardinal Baseball. He was a member of the Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center in Poplar Bluff. He served on the church board and was a usher.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Germany. He married Dorothy White September 18, 1970 in Poplar Bluff and she survives.
Other survivors are one daughter, Rhonda Churchill and husband, Dan of Dexter, Mo.; Two sisters, Marie Burnley of Murray, Ky and Mary Clem of Kahoka, Mo.; three brothers, Howard Dunlap of Harviell, Everett Dunlap of Plymonth, Ill. and Walter Dunlap of Revere, Mo.; and grandchildren, Katarrah and Serina Churchhill.
He was preceded in death by on brother, Cecil, and one sister Betty Dunlap.
Visitation will begin at 6p.m. Saturday a the Bluff City Apostolic Worship Center, The funeral will be at 2 p.m., Sunday at the Worship Center. Officiating will be Rev. Ted Elledge and Pastor Jerry Williams. Burial will be in the Kinsey Cemetery.
