Francis Pauline Cole, 68, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday, November 13, 2015, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Cole was born August 3, 1947, in Taylor, Mo. She attended Stringtown Pentecostal Church and Grace United Methodist Church. She worked in housekeeping at Westwood Hills Healthcare. She loved animals, yard sales, reading, watching SyFy and was an Elvis fan.
On November 2, 1981 she married Samuel Richard Cole. He preceded her in death December 13, 2006. Previously she was married to Jimmie G. Davis, who preceded her in death.
Her parents, James Taylor Bruce and Ellen Mae (Hill) Alberson also preceded her in death, as well as three sisters, Velma Aydelotte, Jo Parnell and Christine Smith; and one brother, Fred Bruce.
Survivors include her daughter, Renee Stromatt (Tim) of Waldorf, Md.; two brothers, Doyle Bruce and Jimmy Bruce Jr., both of Poplar Bluff; and two grandchildren, Mistianna Stromatt and Zac Stromatt.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2015, in the chapel, with Rev. J.C. Bryant officiating. Burial will take place in the Mo. State Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield, Mo.
