Sherry Szczeblewski

Sherry Dawn Szczeblewski, 57, of Wappapello Mo., departed this world on January 5, 2015.

She was born June 27, 1957 in St. Louis Mo. She is the daughter of Albert and Nellie Szczeblewski.

Sherry graduated high school from Hazelwood, in St. Louis and received a B.S. degree from Southeast Missouri University in Cape Girardeau Mo. She was a retired business owner of a specialty medical billing company.

She is survived by her spouse of 28 years Donna Almond of Wappapello, Mo., loving family members, nieces, Jody Watson of O’Fallon, Mo., Emily Kelsoe of Baton Rouge, La., Rachel Almond of St. Petersburg, Fl., Rebekah Sims of Bloomington, Ind., and nephews, Jason Means of O'Fallon, Mo. and Josh Means of Bridgeton, Mo.

Sherry was an outdoor enthusiast and loved being on the lake and celebrating life with family and friends.

She was a member of Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church and requested memorials be made to Lake Wappapello UMC food pantry.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. February 14, 2015 at Lake Wappapello United Methodist Church.

She will be greatly missed by many friends and extended family.

Sherry’s outlook on life followed this quote: "Life is not a journey to the grave in a pretty and well preserved body but rather to skid broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, proclaiming WOW-what a ride."
