Thomas William Joyner, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday, December 5, 2014 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Joyner was born June 9, 1930 in Holcomb, Mo. to the late William Luther and Dema (Wilburn) Joyner.
He was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired truck driver for John Deere and enjoyed square dancing, watching westerns and loved music.
In 1949 he married Ulah Louise Harvill. She passed away in 1984. In 1997 he married Betty Henderson who passed away in 2013.
Survivors include his children, Linda Morgan and husband, Carroll and Marion Bud Joyner and wife Kim, all of Poplar Bluff; grandchildren, Jeff Carl and Charlena Dorris, five great-grandchildren, Megan, Shania and Cassie Carl and Macy and Tucker Dorris, as well as three great-great-grandchildren, Nikki, Kala and Morgan.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 8, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Bill Orr officiating. Burial will be in the Tucker Cemetery , Campbell, Mo.
