Ronnie "Boo" Grant Obituary

Ronnie Eugene Grant “Boo”, age 59 of Poplar Bluff, MO departed this life Friday, February 23, 2024, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center surrounded by family and friends. Ronnie was born August 04, 1964, in Poplar Bluff, MO to Shirley Ann Lewis Brown and Eugene Grant. He attended Poplar Bluff High School in Poplar Bluff, MO. 

Ronnie accepted Christ at an early age. He loved watching football (The Dallas Cowboys). He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was everyone's “Uncle Boo”, known for being the life of the party and always making people laugh.

Ronnie is survived by the love of his life Donna Clayborne; his father Eugene Grant of Chicago, IL; his sons Ronnie Grant Jr of St. Joseph, MO and D’Ontre Nelson of Jefferson City, MO; his brothers Kevin “Donnie” Grant and Melvin Grant (Stephanie) of Oklahoma City, OK; his sisters Sherra “Missy” Grant (Eddy) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Geraldine Grant and Quantonia Grant of Chicago, IL; Aunt Ann Barnes of Little Rock, AR, Cherrie Crumby of Arlington, TX, Barbara Richie of Chicago, IL;  Uncle Isaiah Grant (Deborah ) of Las Vegas, NV, his nine grandchildren Tray Wallace-Jones, Dekory Jones, Ta’Shiya Ewing, Keira Thomas, Reminyss Grant, Ronnie Grant III, Prynce Grant, Reakwon Grant, and Kaleah Clayborne; his nieces Natasia White, Breonna Grant of Nashville, TN and three nephews Dustin Burrage, Mark Benton, and Monte Grant all of Poplar Bluff, MO; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother Shirley Ann Lewis Brown, son Christopher Lionel 

Jones, Aunt Ollie V. Kenney, two Uncles Jimmy Van Lewis and Lewis S. Barnes, and Nephew Darren Lavar WIlliams. 

Visitation will be from 12pm to 1pm Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  The funeral service will begin at 1pm in the funeral home chapel.
