Essie B. Dudley, 69, of Poplar Bluff, MO departed this life on June 19, 2019 at her home. She was born on October 18, 1949 in Charleston, MO to Eddie Andrew Ellis, Sr. and Arie Lee Ellis.

She is survived by two siblings, Eddie S. Ellis Jr. and Pauline Hardin, seven children, sons-Kevin Ellis and James Dudley Jr., daughters-Arie Anderson, Rose Marie Johnson, Norma Jean Dudley, Katina Dudley and Rhonda Dudley, 26 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nephews and nieces.

Essie was a Certified Nurses Aid (CNA) and spent most of her life caring for residents in Nursing Homes throughout Poplar Bluff, MO. Her co-workers and peers spoke very highly of her compassionate and caring heart in providing necessary services to all of her patients.

Services will be held on Tuesday June 25th, 2019 at Mt. Calvary Powerhouse Church 1875 Speedway Drive Poplar Bluff, MO Visitation at 11:00 AM; Funeral Services at 12:00 Noon; Burial: City Cemetery
