George Milton Gearhart, 89, of Van Buren, MO passed away on August 22, 2019 at Riverways Manor in Van Buren, Missouri.
George was born on October 19, 1929 to Gus and Cora (Whittey) Gearhart in Hunter, Missouri. He married Nancy (Bridges) on March 15, 1987, in Hunter Mo...
George was a member of the Methodist Church in Ellsinore, Mo. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed reading the Bible, visiting with people and writing down thoughts.
George is survived by spouse, Nancy Gearhart; son, Christopher Wallace Gearhart; daughter, Kristin Elizabeth Gearhart; sister-in-law, Carol Gearhart; Adopted Brother, Pete Benson.
George was preceded by his parents; two brothers Richard and Nute Gearhart; sister Elizabeth Wingo.
There will be a memorial service at a later date, with burial in Hunter Highland Cemetery.
