Shannon Lynette Hurst

Shannon Lynette Hurst, 46, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 22, 2019 at St. Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Shannon was born on June 29, 1973 to Norman and Marie (Carpenter) Richmond in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  
Shannon graduated from Doniphan High School in 1991. She then graduated from Arkansas State University in 1995 as a Registered Nurse.  She enjoyed playing the piano, spending time quality time with family, friends, and her dog Candy.
Shannon is survived by her daughter, Megan Hurst; mother, Marie Richmond; sisters, Sharon Wright, Ruth Gutterman (Glenn), Norma Richmond, Mary Maple (David), brother; Daniel Richmond and multiple nieces and nephews.
Shannon was preceded in death by her father; Norman Richmond, sister; Deborah Roberts;  paternal grandparents; Albert and Fay Richmond, maternal grandparents; Laveta and Floyd Carpenter, brother-in-law; Kenny Wright and sister-in-law; Sheila Richmond.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019   from 10-11 am at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO.  Funeral services will begin at 11 am in the chapel with Pastor Jerry Lemons officiating. Burial will take place at Stephens Cemetery off K Hwy in Ripley County.
