Frank Paul Dobnikar, Sr., 66 of O'Fallon, Mo. passed away Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at his home. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Bruce Underhill officiating. Burial in the Gum Cemetery near Naylor, Missouri.
Mr. Dobnikar was born Aug. 8, 1944, in Naylor, Mo. He formerly lived in Naylor and Poplar Bluff where he attended the West Side Church of God. He was a salesman for Pitney Bowes and loved hunting and fishing.
On October 14, 1961, he married Carol Hudson at Naylor. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Frank Paul Dobnikar Jr. and his wife, Trisha of Kansas City, Mo. , and Roger Paul Dobnikar and his wife Martha of Birmingham, Alabama; two sister, Alice Boxx of St. Louis, Mo., and Mary Dobnikar of Florida; a brother, Junior Dobnikar of Florida; seven grandchildren, Anthony Michael and wife Erica, Matthew Michael, Quinton Dobnikar, Toby Parker, Paul Dobnikar, Carter Kreutziger and Kelsey Dobnikar.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Dobnikar in 1995 and Ethel Sullivan Dobnikar in 1994; and a brother Calvin Dobnikar.
