Shelby Carter

Shelby Nicole Carter, 20, of Neelyville, Mo., died Saturday, May 28, 2016, near Poplar Bluff, Mo. Ms. Carter was born Nov. 22, 1995, in Poplar Bluff. She was a lifelong resident of the area and worked as a receptionist at Poplar Bluff Pediatrics. She enjoyed movies, reading, fishing, horses and four wheelers. She is survived by her parents, Vincent and Ulanda Carter, and Trudy Burson and Ronnie Smith; grandparents, Theresa and Buddy Kellum, Donelda Cannoles, Jerry Carter and Birdie Hogan; great-grandmother, Sue Messer; siblings, Kenny Taylor, Ashten Carter, Brycen Carter and wife Stephanie, Devin Carter and wife Gabriel, Jessica Carter, Casey Kelly, Marah Kellum and Tierney Wolf and husband Tom; nieces and nephews, Avery, Isabella, Layla and Landin; as well as aunts, uncles and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harvey Cannoles and Junior Hogan. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. Funeral Services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kinsey Cemetery, near Harviell, Mo.
