Alberta Foley

Alberta Louise "Bert" Foley, 89, of Naylor, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 4, 2014 at the Cedargate in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Mrs. Foley was born on October 9, 1925 in Detroit, Mich. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed doing yard work and attending church at Naylor First Church of God, where she served on the church board. On Sept. 27, 1944, she married Martin Foley in Corning, Ark. Mrs. Foley is survived by a sister, Frieda Stout; two nieces; two nephews; five great-nieces; one great-nephew; five great-great-nieces; and one great-great nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin; her parents, Fred Armour and Carrie Couch; and a sister, Myrtle Keel. Visitation will begin at noon Friday at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. Funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bob Featherston officiating. Burial will be in Naylor Memorial Cemetery.
