Alfreda Mae Fennell, 79, of New Douglas, Illinois passed away July 30, 2015 at her residence. She was born October 13, 1935 at Risco, Missouri to the late Jessie Edwards and Bessie (Williamson) Edwards.
She had been married to Buddy Blagg, then to Charles Baney and then to Perry Fennell.
She is survived by her children; Lavern Baney of Ervin, Illinois, Vincent Baney of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Mary Whitt of Walshville, Illinois, Sarah Baney of Qulin, Mssouri and Jamie Blagg of Malberry Grove, Illinois. One Sister, Deloma Canterbury of Corning, Arkansas and one brother, James H. Stephens of Sorento, Illinois.
Eighteen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as one son; Luke Baney, two brothers, C. Otis Edwards and Curtis Sumner.
Alfreda was a homemaker and enjoyed family gatherings, playing music, guitar, singing and going to church. she attended several churches in the area.
visitation for Alfreda will be Sunday August 2, 2015 in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel starting at 12;00 p.m. with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m.. Burial will be in the Coon Island Cemetery of Neelyville, Missouri with Rev Ernest Bennett officiating
