Alice R. Minton

Alice R. Minton, 60, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 at her residence. Mrs. Minton was born November 10, 1953, in St. Louis, Mo.,to the late Vernon and Naomi Zimmer. Mrs. Minton was a homemaker. She was married to Hollis Minton, who survives. Also surviving are children, Scott Zimmer and Corey Bertman; a sister, Robin Arthur; a brother, Michael Zimmer and one grandchild, Trinity Zimmer. Mrs. Minton was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers; Glenn, Curt and Kenny Zimmer. Visitation will be 2-3pm Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff. A GRAVESIDE service will begin at 3:30 pm at Berger Cemetery Oglesville, Mo., with Rev. Gene Riddle officiating.
