Allen Eugene Phillips

Allen Eugene Phillips, 70, of Poplar Bluff passed away on December 20, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Allen was born on June 17, 1949 to the late Allen and Lillian Irene (Short) Phillips in Bloomfield, Missouri.  He married Ella (Ward) Phillips on July 14, 1973. Mr. Phillips was a gear-head.  He enjoyed cars, especially classic cars. Mr. Phillips is survived by wife, Ella Phillips, daughter; Melanie J. Shipman(Tim), son; Terry Phillips(Jessica), granddaughters, Celesta Shipman, Amanda Shipman, grandsons, Timmy Shipman, Dylan Powell, granddaughter, Sierra Phillips, grandson, Brandon Phillips, sister  Frieda Wuesthoff Fern Maclin and brother, Johnny Phillips. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Violet Glas and brother Lester Phillips. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26th, 2019 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO.  The funeral service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Ash Hill Cemetery.
