Allison,"'Ally" Daughhetee 8, foud herself sheltered in the arms of God Wednesday, June 1, 2011 in Madison County, as the result of a car accident. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 5-9PM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff. Funeral will be 1 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in funeral home chapel with Bro. Shelvie Stephens and Bro. George Howell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Williamsville.
Ally was born May 10, 2003 in DesMoines, Iowa to Ronald Daughhetee Jr. and Melissa Blaha -Daughhetee, who both survive. She attended Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was on the 'A' Honor Roll at Oak Grove Elementary School in Poplar Bluff. She received a leadership award in her classroom and a library and a music award at her school. She enjoyed playing soccer, reading, riding her bicycle and her scooter, and singing at church. Ally was a junior auxillary member for American Legion Post 153. She also enjoyed wrestling on the bed with Pa Pa Ron, giving monkey hugs to grandpa Jerry and having sleepovers with Sissy.
Also surviving are her grandparents; Ronald and Betty Daughhetee of Poplar Bluff, Jerry and Vicki Blaha of Panora, Iowa; a great-grandmother, Dorothy Blaha of Havelock, Iowa; a sister, Abby Nicole Burke of the home; aunts and uncles; Wendy and Dave Krischel; Mikki Martin, and Gina and Trent Stilwell; cousins; Tyler Krischel, Morgan Krischel, Hunter Martin, Hannah Stilwell, Harley Stilwell and Wyatt Stilwell; a large extended family and many friends.
Ally will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
