Alvin Pollard Sr

Alvin Richard Pollard Sr., 64, of Naylor, Mo., died Feb. 21, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mr. Pollard was born, Dec. 16, 1950 in St. Louis, Mo. He worked as a farmer, and enjoyed playing scratch off tickets, the guitar, and enjoyed car racing. He was a lifelong area resident He is survived by his 3 sons; Alvin Pollard JR. of Trenton, TN., John of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Jeremy of Bloomfield, Mo.; 3 sisters, Peggy McElhaney, of Neelyville, Mo., Judy Legate, of Harviell, Mo., Jane Gordon, of Piggott, Ar.; 1 brother, Fred Pollard, of Fairdealing; 1 special friend, Branson Garrett; as well as nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Preceding him in death are his parents, Fred Pollard and Hilda Schrammal and one son, Bobby Joe Pollard. Visitation will be held, Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 from 11:00-1:00 at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with funeral services beginning at 1:00p.m. Burial will be held at Ash Hill Cemetery, in Fisk, Mo.
