Amy Lorene Hastings

Amy Lorene Hastings, 39, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away at her residence on May 15, 2014. She was born June 19, 1974, at Pocahontas, Arkansas to Gary E. Hastings of Doniphan, Missouri and Polly Jones O'Neal of Clarkton, Mo. She is survivied by her children: Heather Shafer of Malden, Mo., Cody Hastings of Doinphan, Mo. , Nathaniel Whitlock and Brienna Whitlock both of Doniphan, Mo. One grand-daughter, Grave Shafer, one sister, Starsh King of Doniphan and one brother, Gary Hastings also of Doniphan, Mo. Amys' Grandparents; Frances Anderson and Thelma Brown. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers; Eugene Jones and William Hastings. A resident of Doniphan for the past two years, Amy was a homemaker, she had served as mayor of Tallapoosa, Mo. she enjoyed fishing, family history , reading crafts and religious theolgy and was a loving Mother. She was of Non Denominal faith and enjoyed visiting churches. Services for Amy was May 17, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel Inc. of Neelyville, Missouri. Burial was in the Shirley Cemetery of Doniphan, Missouri following services. Sister Cathy White officiated.
