Anna Elizabeth Bryant Bediant

Anna Elizabeth Bryant-Bediant, age 94, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., formerly of Campbell, Mo., passed away Saturday June 15, 2013, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Bediant was born April 13, 1919 in Clines Island, Mo. She had lived in Poplar Bluff for nine years. Mrs. Bediant was a member of the Greater Vision Worship Center in Puxico, Mo. She loved God and loved going to church. Mrs. Bediant was a homemaker and loved to write pen pals, which included over 300. On March 29, 1980 she married Harvey E. Bediant. He preceded her in death in 2003. She was previously married to Basil Bryant who passed away in 1978. Also preceding her in death include her parents, Richard Oglesby and Ida May (Lewis) Best; siblings, James Bess, Stella Jones, Fran Harrison and Ellen Rawlins. She is survived by her children, Emily (Gene) Stanley of Titusville, Fla., Robert ( Ruby) Bryant of Poplar Bluff, Louise ( Melton) Von Rudegisch of Texas, Faye (Jim) Willis of Edgewater, Fla., John ( Melba) Bryant of Dexter, Mo., Ronald (Ada) Bryant of Poplar Bluff, Delbert (Twila) Bryant of Rockford, Ill, and Ben Bediant of Poplar Bluff; sisters, Vivian Urban of Bellville, Ill, and Emily Wooldridge of Sweet Springs, Mo.; one brother, Ben Bess of Oakharbor, Wash.; many grand and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday June 19, 2013 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2013 in the chapel with Rev. George Needham officiating. Burial will be in the Elder Cemetery in Campbell, Mo.
