Anthony Griffin

Anthony D. Griffin, 32 of Poplar Bluff passed away December 22, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

Anthony was born September 4, 1987 to Corey Jones and Marian Griffin  in Poplar Bluff.

Anthony will always be remembered for his freestyling.  There was not a day that went by that he was not freestyling.  When he started there was no stopping him.

He is survived by his sons; Jehiah Hardesty and Kourage Dozier, father; Corey Jones, grandparents; Mattie and Benjamin Griffin Sr, sisters; Lakiesha Griffin, Ieshia Griffin, Amber and Desira Kookongzurp; and brothers; Ashton Griffin,Kobe Jones; Aunt Marquita Johnson ans spouse James; Uncle Benjamin Griffin Jr and spouse Michelle, Uncle Jerry Whitehorn and spouse Lola.

Anthony was preceded in death by his mother; Marian Griffin, and Aunt Patricia Griffin.

The wake will begin at 11 am Saturday Dec. 28, 2019 at Fowler -Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff.  The funeral service will follow at 12 pm in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Bacon Pasture Cemetery, Butler County, Mo    The repass to follow at True Believers Church after burial.
