Argusta Mack Moss

Argusta (Mack) Moss, 89, of Poplar Bluff went to her heavenly home March 10, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be at noon Monday, March 14, 2011 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff and the funeral service will follow at 1p.m., with Dr. Ron Webb officiating. Burial in Bacon Pasture Cemetery, Poplar Bluff, Mo. She was born May 5, 1921, in Arkansas and lived most of her life in Butler County. She was a member of New Light Missionary Baptist Church, and received Christ at an early age. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her family and friends. On June 3, 1948, she was married to O.T. Moss Sr. He preceded her in death on Feb, 23, 2001. Surviving are two sons, Willie Moss and O.T. Moss Jr. and wife, Margaret, all of Poplar Bluff; one stepdaughter, Gean Wise of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Spencer McReynolds of Oakland, Ca.; five grandchildren, Montez Moss and Brandon Moss, both of Cape Girardeau, Mo., April Kilgore and husband, Michael of Poplar Bluff, Maurice Moss of Portland, Ore.; three step-grandchildren, Les Wise Jr., Angie Rhone and husband, Eric, of St. Louis and Chris Wise of California; eight great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
