Benita Hesselrode 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Hesselrode was born July 7, 1940 in Campbell Mo. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. Benita loved the Lord and enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, yard sales, and flea marketing.
She was married to Charles Hesselrode Sr., who preceded her in death.
Surviving include her children, Vicki Simpson of Poplar Bluff, Claudette Adams, and Edward Henson of Piedmont; two brothers, Buddie Weaver and Billy Weaver; 26 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death are two sons, Rodney Henson and Donald McKenzie; her father, Willie Weaver and mother, Birtie (Wells) Weaver; as well as two sisters, Carolyn Weaver and Wadean Curtis.
Visitation will begin at noon, Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 1p.m. for a 1:30 p.m. GRAVESIDE FUNERAL at Ash Hill Cemetery. Rev. Darrell Friday will officiate.
