Bethel Lee Tyler, 86, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.,passed away March 26, 2013 in the Westwood Hills Healthcare. She was born June 25, 1926 in Caraway, Arkansas to the late Roy Lee Wolverton and Iva White Wolverton.
She was married to James Harvey French. he preceded her in death on Febraury 18, 1984. Then later married Melvin Tyler. He also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children,James E. French of Hazelwood, Mo., Barbara Ellen Jones of Harviell, Mo., Harvey French of Harviell, Mo.. Three sisters, Martha West of Harviell, Mo., Wanda Farles of Poplar Bluff, Mo., and Mary Miller of Bridgeway, Colorado., Three brothers, Melvis Wolverton of Sahvarita, Arizona, RoyWolverton of St. Peters, Mo., and Willie Wolverton of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
she was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Russell Leon French and one grandson, Gene Jones and one brother, J.A. Wolverton.
She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, canning and her grandchildren. She was a member of the American Legion at Doniphan, Missouri.
Visitation will be Thursday March 28, 2013 starting at 12:00 p.m. with the funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Naylor Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Wes Flaugh officiating
