Betty Louise Cawley, 80, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the Mark Twain Caring Center.
Mrs. Cawley was born January 27, 1933 in Granite City, Ill. to the late Dock and Nina (Conner) Mathenia. She was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidery and watching "Castle" on television.
On September 18, 1954 she married William David Cawley. He preceded her in death in 2005.
Survivors include her children, Janette Kanell of Poplar Bluff, Shirley Tatro of Warren, Michigan, Luevade Posey and Glen of Kempner, Texas, Glenn Cawley and Lisa of Fairhaven, Vermont, Casey Cawley and Kim of Poplar Bluff, Kathleen Fain and David of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Gladys Butler of Bethalto, Ill.; as well as 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Bonnie Louise, who died in 1958.
Visitation for Mrs. Cawley will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday August 12, 2013 followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 844 Cedar St., Poplar Bluff, Mo., with Elder John Walker officiating. Burial in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
