Betty Hornbeck

Betty Jane Hornbeck, 76, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Monday, December, 16, 2013, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Hornbeck was born June 18, 1937 at Williamsville, Mo. She was a member of Third Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. She enjoyed gardening and loved bowling. On December 28, 1956 she married Donnie Ray Hornbeck. He survives. She is also survived by a daughter, Debbie Trout of Poplar Bluff and one brother, James Hooper of Lemay, Mo. Preceding her in death include her parents, William and Mary Jane (Hicks) Hooper; two sisters, Gladys Lashley and Lucille Crecelius and three brothers, Marvin Hooper, Charles Hooper and Vernon Hooper. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2013, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ralph Mayes and Rev. James Capps officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery.
