Betty Newcomb

Betty Ann Newcomb, 72, of Neelyville, Mo., passed away on Sat. May 13, 2017 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Newcomb was born on Jan. 30, 1945. She worked as a salesman in a dress shop and enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, and fishing. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Corning, AR. On Nov. 16, 1973 she married Doyle Newcomb in Obion, TN. He survives. Also surviving is her children, Sherrill DeLancey, Darnell Newcomb, Blaine Newcomb, and Chris Newcomb; as well as 25 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Pauline Mills; sisters, Vera Melton and Dora McEwen. Visitation for Mrs. Newcomb will be from 11:00 - 1:00 Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville. The funeral will follow at 1:00 in the chapel with Donnie Fowler officiating. The Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens in Poplar Bluff. She was loved and meant the world to a lot of people.
