Bill Young Jr

Bill Young Jr., 76, of High Ridge, Mo. died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. Mr. Young was born July 4, 1939 in Monroe, Ar. He worked at Cupples manufacturing. He enjoyed slot machines, playing cards, spending time with children and grandchildren, watching sports and fishing. Mr. Young was also a member of the National Guard. He also enjoyed spending time with his brothers, sisters, and in-laws. On August 19, 1960 he married Virginia Emma Rudd in Caruthersville, Mo. She preceded him in death on Oct. 10, 2012. He is survived by his 2 children, Tony Young and wife Kelly of Bucyrus, Mo., and Harvey Young and wife Denise of High Ridge, Mo.; 3 sisters, Shorty Morelock of Brandenburg, KY., Betty Penrod and Ruth Penrod both of Portageville, Mo.; 1 brother, John Young of St. Louis, Mo.; 5 grandchildren, Melissa Gilbert, Ian & Emily young, Billy Young, and Zach Young; and 2 great-grandchildren, Skyla Gilbert and Jaxon Rutz. Besides his wife, he is also preceded in death by his son Dennis Young; his parents, William Young and Elsie Lecroy Young; his sister, Caroline Montgomery; and his brother, Bob Young. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 form 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. with Funeral Services beginning at 6:00 p.m. all taking place at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Mo. Burial and a graveside service will take place on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at St. Mathews Cemetery in St. Louis, Mo.
