Bill F. Stewart, 73 of Poplar Bluff, passed away Monday October 25,2010 in the Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, MO. A graveside funeral service with full military rites will be held at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO at 11a.m. Friday October 29, 2010 Bill F. Stewart, 73, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Monday October 25, 2010 at the Veteran's Home in Cape Girardeau. Mr. Stewart was born July 23, 1937 in Bisbee, Arizona. He was a member of Green Forest Church of Christ. He served in the Army and was retired from Phillip Dodge Corporation in Bisbee Arizona. On March 29, 1986 he married Betty Craft Stewart in Poplar Bluff. She survives. Also surviving are three children: Bobbie Stewart of Bisbee, AZ; Doris Marie Coleman of Bisbee, AZ; and Lisa McMurtry and husband Mel of Centerville, Maryland. Also surviving are one sister; Dottie Whitman and husband John of Bisbee, AZ and two brothers: Glen Stewart and wife Betty of Festus, MO ; Merle Young and wife Lisa of Independence, MO Six grandchildren and two great grandchildren Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his father Oliver Stewart and mother Blanche Willi Stewart. He was also preceded in death by a son; Allen Stewart. There will be no public visitation. A graveside funeral will be held Friday October 29, 2010 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO at 11AM with full military rites.
