Billy James Goodman

Billy James Goodman, 84, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on June 01, 2019 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Billy was born on January 19, 1935 to Marvin and Gennie Craig in Camden, Tennessee.  He married Gladys Jean (Shields) on May 13, 1965 in Broseley. Billy enjoyed fishing and going to the coffee shop and auctions.  He served in the United States Army. Billy is survived by spouse, Gladys Jean Goodman son, Michael Goodman and daughter, Susan Maurer; granddaughters, Julia and Olivia Goodman; granddaughters, Amanda and Jenna Maurer and grandson, Ryan Maurer. Billy was preceded by his parents and three brothers; Glynn, Lynn and Wayne Goodman. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5th  from 10-11 am  at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. A Graveside funeral service will follow at 12 pm at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Mo with Rev. Calvin Buhler officiating.
