Billy Dale O'Barr

Billy Dale O'Barr, 70, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away June 5, 2014 in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. He was born May 5, 1944 at Clarkton, Missouri to the late William Monroe O'Barr and Goldie E. Tune O'Barr Tippit. On August 23, 1975 at Portageville, Missouri he was married to Daile F. Brooks. She survives. Also surviving two sons, William Dale O'Barr and Travis Dale O'Barr, both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one sister, Elaine Ellen Tippit of Bellmont, Mississippi and one brother, James Robert "Bobby" Tippit of Gatewood, Missouri; as well as two grandchildren, Melina and Lucky O'Barr. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as a brother, Jimmy L. O'Barr. Mr. O'Barr had worked in cabinet manifacturing for computer and closures. He enjoyed gardening, watching the news and his grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. O'Barr will be Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Missouri starting at 6:oo p.m.
