Bobby Lester Thompson

Bobby Lester Thompson, 86, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on February 28, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Bobby was born on October 23, 1938, to Tony and Gracie (Hicks) Thompson in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Bobby enjoyed extensive traveling with his wife Rita, across the United States, fishing and bargain shopping.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Bobby is survived by many nieces and nephews and many life long friends and his beloved pet Red. Bobby was preceded in death by parents; Tony Thompson and Gracie Thompson, wife; Rita, brothers; Lloyd, Danny, Joe, Paul, Jim, Everett, sisters; Lillian, Betty, Elsie and Lessie. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 12pm- 12:45pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff, Mo 63901 Graveside funeral services will begin at 1PM at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with full military honors.
