Bruce Alonzo Holcomb

Bruce Alonzo Holcomb, 52 of Oxly, Mo. passed away January 3, 2013 in the John Cochran V.A. Medical Center of St. Louis, Mo. He was born November 9, 1960 at Doniphan, Mo. to the late Alonzo Holcomb and Betty Gamblin Holcomb. On May 12, 2012 at Poplar Bluff, Mo. he was married to Beverly Tillman Holcomb. She survives. Also surviving, two sons, Nigel and Simon Holcomb both of Interlachen, Florida, one step son, Jackie Elliot and wife Whitney of Paragould, Arkansas. One sister, Debbie Holcomb of Fairdealing, Mo. two brothers, Allen Holcomb OF oxly, Mo. and Darrel Holcomb of Naylor, Mo. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as one sister Tammie Holcomb and one brother, Jerry Holcomb. He was an electrician and served in the United States Navy during the Gulf War and Desert Storm. He was a member of the American Legion at Nalyor. He enjoyed history and things of the civil war, restoring hi truck , fishing, hunting working In his shop and traveling. Services was January 9, 2013 starting at 12:00 pm in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel at Neelyville, Mo. Burial in the New Hope Cemetery near Doniphan, Mo. Donnie Fowler officiating.
