Bruce Lamar Jordan Sr. "Ghost", 59, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., was called to his eternal home Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Jordan was born March 28, 1956, in Poplar Bluff, to the late Rozetta Jordan.
He had many health issues, but they never stopped him from going fishing. He was a man who could fish and loved fishing. He collected Marvel comic books and watched all of the animated movies. He enjoyed reading different books and liked to talk.
Left to cherish his memories are 2 daughters, Inger Gillon of Wichita, Kansas, Temeka Jefferson of Fayetteville, N. Carolina; 3 sons, Terrell Jefferson of Spring Lake, N. Carolina, Bruce Jordan Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Bradley Jordan of Poplar Bluff; a sister, Cetanya Hayes of Poplar Bluff; 3 brothers, Keith Jordan (Anna) of Poplar Bluff, Andre Jordan (Ethel) of Poplar Bluff and Lowell Jordan of Springfield, Mo.; 7 grandchildren, Shantanika Gillon, Stacy Phillips Jr., Skilyn Phillips, Zayyir Monroe, LaZiyah Jefferson, Sayveion Jefferson and Bruce III; 1 great-grandchild, Miah'leigh Phillips; a special cousin, Patricia Walton Barnes; his fishing buddies, Lawrence Mann and Roy McComb and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bruce seemed to keep us laughing and we will remember that. He will be dearly missed by everyone.
Visitation will begin at noon Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, with the funeral service to follow at 1p.m. with Rev. Tommy Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
