Burley E Von Ruedgisch

Burley E Von Ruedgisch, 73, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on November 12, 2024, at his home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Burley was born on November 20, 1950, to Fred and Margaret in Fisk, Missouri.  He married Linda Loyd on June 16, 1972, and they enjoyed 52 years of marriage.  She survives. Burley retired from the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, after 39 years of service.  He also served his country 10 years in the United States Army.  Burley was also a long-time member of Southside Assembly of God Church. Burley is survived by spouse, Linda Von Ruedgisch, son, Jason Von Ruedgisch of Cape Girardeau, Great grandsons, Avery and Andrew Williams, sister, Jo Owens of Poplar Bluff, brother, Jerry Von Ruedgisch of Fisk, brother, Jim Von Ruedgisch and wife Margie of Texas. Burley was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Amy Von Ruedgisch and granddaughter, Logan Markham. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, from 11am-12pm at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will follow at 12pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jerry Lemons and Pastor Glen Epps III officiating. Burial will take place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with military honors, at 2pm
