Carol Jean Hendricksonthornberry

Carol Jean " Hendrickson" Thornberry passed away Nov. 10, 2010 at the age of 70, at her residence. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the Fowler Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service will be held on Monday Nov. 15, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Memorial Gardens, Poplar Bluff. Vernon Curry will officiate. Mrs. Thornberry was a member of Highland Drive Church of Christ and taught Bible School for years. She previously lived in St. Louis and worked as a Medical Lab Tech at John J. Persing V.A. Medical Center. She enjoyed cooking and caring for others. She was born on February 14, 1940 to parents Larry Allen Hendrickson and Elsie "Landis" Hendrickson, both preceding her in death. On December 19, 1969 she was untied in marriage to William Harold Thornberry, who survives. They have 2 children Joy Yowell and husgand Lincoln of St. Louis and Lana Thornberry of Poplar Bluff. Alson surviving are two grandchildren Aiden and Colin Yowll; one brother Randy Lynn Hendrickson of Ozark, Mo. She is also preceded in death by one brother Richard Hendrickson.
