Caroline Shrum

Caroline Sue Shrum, 70, of Doniphan, Mo., passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Shrum was born May 11, 1945 in Delaplane, Ark. She worked as a motel manager and enjoyed sewing, and flower gardening. On March 5, 1963 she married Carl "Sonny" Shrum in Senath, Mo. He survives. Survivors include her children, Jeff Shrum & wife Kris of Marion, Il., and Brian Shrum of Doniphan, Mo.; sisters, Jean, Shirley, Debbie, Regina, Connie, Georgia, and Pam; brothers, Jerry, Eddie, Butch, Ben and Larry; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Sessums and Martha Haney. A Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, at 2:00 p.m. at the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Mo. The Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel.
