Carolyn Juanita Dicken

Carolyn Juanita Dicken, 69, of Harviell, Mo., died Tuesday Jan. 21, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Dicken was born March 10, 1944, in Parma, Mo. She was a homemaker, who loved children, flowers, and traveling. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Harviell, Mo., where she served as treasurer of W.M.U. On April 8, 1961, she married Eldon Dicken. He preceded her in death on Aug. 4, 2002. Survivors include her children, Julie Ferguson & husband Bud of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Cynthia "Cindy" Wicks, of Harvielle, Mo.; one sister, June Harralston of Malden, Mo.; two brothers, Joe Page, of Palmetto Florida, Lee Page, of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two grandchildren, Brody and Heath Ferguson; and two great-grandchildren, Levi and Ally Ferguson. Besides her husband, preceding her in death are her parents William Burton Page and Junie Marion Stout Page; one son-in-law, David Wicks; one grandson, Nicholas Wicks; 4 sisters, Betty Taylor, Dorothy Halford, Joyce Hampton and Bonnie Walsh; and two brothers, Jerry Page and Jim Page; Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Jerry Moore officiating. Burial will be at Dicken Cemetery.
