Catherine Anderson

March 14, 1957 — April 4, 2013

Catherine Anderson was born on March 14, 1957, in Memphis, Tenn. to Betty McComb and the Late Steve Anderson Sr.. She was lifelong resident of Poplar Bluff until she moved to St. Louis, Mo.. Catherine comfessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Elbethel House of Worship. She enjoyed dancing, collecting jewelry, spending time with her family, but most of all she enjoyed shopping. She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Stephen Anderson of Sikeston, Mo.; a daughter, Krystal Anderson of Vandelia, Mo.; her grandchildren, Deaireus Anderson, Secret Buchanan, Malachi Buchanan and Jahlayla buchanan, all of Poplar Bluff, Mo. Her mother, Betty McComb of Neelyville, Mo. Grandmother, Mary Austin of Michigan; five sisiters, Nancy Trice of Chicago, Emma McComb, Vivian McComb, Dorris McComb and Brenda K. McComb all of Neelyville; four brothers; Johnny L. McComb, Lee K. McComb Jr., Eddie McComball of Neelyville, Mo. and Ronnie McComb of Poplar Bluff, Mo. a very special aunt that she held close to her heart, Margaret Minton of St. Louis, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Anderson Sr; Stepfather, Lee K. McComb Sr.; four brothers, Robert Anderson, Steve Anderson Jr. Arthur Anderson and Donald McComb; and a granddaughter, Aweona Buchanan. Visitation will be April 2, 2013 starting at 11:00 am with the funeral following at 1:00 pm in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel of Neelyville, Mo. Burial will be in the Neelyville Cemetery, with Rev Donnell McComb officiating.
