Charles Belt

Charles Lester Belt, 85, of Poplar Bluff, MO passed away on October 22, 2021 at Westwood Hills Care Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Charles was born on May 13, 1936 to Omer and Ester Hicks Belt in Gibson, Missouri.  He married Melba Carolyn (Dees).  She preceded him in death May 12,2021.

Charles enjoyed collecting rocks. Charles is survived by one son, Tim Belt; 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by wife, Melba Carolyn Belt, daughter; Rhonda Bradly, his parents; brothers, Elvis and Truman Belt and sister; Daisy Shelton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, MO. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Fowler Sullivan Funeral Service with Rev. Kevin McAnulty officiating. Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
