Charles L. "Chuck" Carter

Charles L. "Chuck" Carter, son of Roy Carter and Lora Mae Mangold Carter, was born may 25, 1949 at Coon Island, Missouri. He departed this life on October 25, 2010 in St. Louis, Missouri. He lived 61 years and 5 months. He is survived by,three brothers, Billy Joe Carter of Naylor, Missouri, Lester Carter of Neelyville, Missouri and Chester carter of Doniphan, Missouri. One foster brother, John Batchelor Of Harviell, Missouri Several Nieces and Nephews and some special friends. He is preceded in death by his parents as well as two sisters, Frances Sally Carter Brooks and Bertha Mae Carter Hawkins, two brothers, Leon Carter and Jesse Lee Carter.He had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. he worked as a heating and cooling tech. for Ellison Heating and cooling. Charles was a life long resident of this area. His visitation will be Saturday October 30, 2010 starting at 11:00a.m.until 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral following at 2:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Coon Island Cemetery. Ron Fowler Officiating.
