Charles Phillip Fanter

Charles Phillip Fanter, age 77, of Broseley, Mo., passed away December 30,2016 at the Westwood Hills Healthcare Center in Poplar Bluff. He was born on September 30, 1939 in Cook County Illinois to the late Fred and Mary Ann Fanter. He retired as a sheet metal construction worker. He loved going to flea markets and attended Christian Family Fellowship Church in Poplar Bluff. Surviving are six children, two stepchildren, one sister, one brother, and several grandchildren, as well as his close companion and caregiver, Mary Baugus. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
