Charles Franklin Fox

Charles F. Fox, 67, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Friday, October 30, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Fox was born July 27, 1948 in Paragould, Ark. He was a lifetime resident of Butler County and attended Grace Christian Fellowship and Midland Church. He was retired from the Poplar Bluff Police Department. Mr. Fox enjoyed car shows, drag racing and his beloved dog Harley. On April 12, 1970, he married Brenda Sue Fox in Poplar Bluff. She preceded him in death on August 3, 2014. Surviving are his children, Jerry Dale Fox (Paula), Kristy Dawn Smith (Matt); his sisters, Kim Hutson (Kevin), Pam Massey (Terry) and Linda Asher (Gilbert); eight grandchildren, Jerrica and Julia Fox, Matthew and Kaylee Smith, Chelsey King, Kylly and Storm Jay and Jessica Jarrell. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by funeral services at 3 p.m. with Rev. Rick White and Rev. Bud Goins officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
