Charles Edward Gambill

Charles Edward (Boots) Gambill, 85, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away in the St. Francis Medical Center of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born June 26, 1929 at Torch, Missouri to the late William Ward Gambill and Clara Reynolds. On November 22, 2000 at Poynor, Missouri to Panzy Wilson. She departed this life on August 31, 2002. He enjoyed, hunting, fishing, telling stories and his grandchildren. He served in the United States Marines during WWII. Mr. Gambill is survived by; five daughters, Kathy Dorch Of Tampa, Florida, Carol Nickason of Corning, Arkansas, Pamela Bailey of Oran, Missouri, Cheryl Neldon of Current View, Missouri and Doris Harp of Advance, Missouri. One sister, Roxie Gambill Wertenberger Doniphan, Missouri. Nineteen grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two grandson, Calvin West and Jeffery Harp, sister; Betty Full and one brother; Ples Gambill. Visitation for Mr. Gambill will be Monday December 29, 2014 starting at 11:00 am in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel with the Funeral following at 1:00 p.m.. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery with Brother Bo Shultz officiating.
