Christopher Gentry

Christopher Gentry, 43, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the Saint Frances Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Mr. Gentry was born July 5, 1972 in Jonesboro, Ar. He was employed with KBI Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, and riding country roads. On May 16, 2015 he married Christa (Spradling) Gentry, at Beaver Lake. She survives. Also surviving are six children, Tawny and Cole Gentry, Casey and Jana Haldeman, all of Poplar Bluff, Sierra and Leah Zimmerman of Ellsinore; his mother, Yvonne (Ward) Gentry and sister, Melissa Richardson and husband, Kurt, also of Poplar Bluff, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Gentry was preceded in death by his father, Clarence O. Gentry. Visitation will begin at 11a.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at noon, in the chapel, with Evangelist Sharon Stadler and Rev. Gene Riddle officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Williamsville, Mo.
