Clara Nadine Gunter

Clara Nadine Gunter 86, of Poplar Bluff departed this life to live forever with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior, Dec. 16,2017 at her home. Mrs. Gunter was born July 22,1931 in Poplar Bluff. She was a nurse's aide and took pleasure in helping the sick. She was a Christian woman who loved her Oglesville General Baptist Church family. She was ordai ed in the ministry in Baton Rouge, LA in 1993, along with her husband, Frank Everett Gunter. She married Frank Sept. 10,1989 in Poplar Bluff. He survives. Also surviving are children; Cheryl Phillips, Steve (Patricia) Woods; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchilren and one great-great- grandchild. Mrs. Gunter was preceded in death by her first husband, William Wood, and her parents, Harry and Eillen Payne. Visitation will be 7 to 9pm Monday at Fowler-sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The service will be Tues. at 11am in the chapel with Rev. Mike Price officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
