Clarence Wright

Clarence David Wright, Greenville, MO, 85, was born November 20, 1940 in McCrory, Arkansas. Clarence passed away February 15, 2026.

Clarence was preceded in death by his 4 brothers and his son, David L. Wright and daughter Rebecka Burden. He is survived by 1 son Donald Wright, 2 daughters Kathy Stanley and Brenda Szilagyi (John) and 14 grandkids, 24 great grandkids and 1 great great grandchild. In 1971 he married Sharon Spradlin Wright who also survives.

He worked for the city of Long Beach, CA for 30 years. After he retired he and his family moved to Greenville, MO.

He was also known as the "mule man" for his love of mules, driving and riding was one of his loves.

Services will be at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home, 701 Vine St. Poplar Bluff.

Visitation will be at 11:00am, the service will be at 12:00.

The burial will take place at Shiloh Church in Greenville, Missouri.
