Claude Gene Hill, 79, of Farmington, Mo., formerly of Poplar Bluff, departed this life on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Farmington Presbyterian Manor in Farmington.
Claude was born November 3, 1937 in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Marion Thelma (Hill) Adams. He was a truck driver and enjoyed playing golf and fishing. He was a charter member of the Order of Eagles 3730 in Poplar Bluff and a past president of the Eagles.
On April 23, 1979 he married Karen (McCollum) Hill, in Poplar Bluff, she survives.
He is also survived by his children, Kelly Gene Hill (Stephanie) and Beth Rowland (Fred) and their mother, Sandra Hill, as well as his son, Michael Hill and one sister, Joyce Gaye Cochran.
He was preceeded in death by his mother and one sister, Phyllis Adams.
Visitation will begin at 12 p.m. (noon) Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, followed by a GRAVESIDE FUNERAL at 1:30 p.m. at the Fairdealing Cemetery in Fairdealing, Mo., with Larry Evans officiating.
