Claudie Lee Kanell Jr.

Claudie Lee Kanell Jr. has passed away November 30, 2022.

Preceding in his death is his mother, Ruth Kanell and father Claudie Kanell, four brothers Rudy Kanell, John Kanell, Allen Wayne, and Billy Clay.

He has two living siblings, Claudia Ice and Rita Roberts.

Lee graduated high school in Ellsinore Mo in 1975. He went on to join the United States Navy as a Seabee for 6 years with an honorable discharge. He came home as a certified mechanic and worked at Crow Tire.  He later worked at Cash’s Car Clinic where he retired in 2022.

Lee married Toni Kanell in 1995.  He gained five children, two sons in law, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Lee had a very special nephew Little John Kanell (LJ) that he thought the world of.

Lee enjoyed being on the water, camping, fishing and most and foremost he wanted to spend every minute with his grandkids! Lee is the most reliable and trustworthy man anyone could call on!

Visitation will be Wednesday December 7,2022, from 1-2PM at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home 844 Cedar St. Poplar Bluff.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm in the chapel.  Burial will be in Fairdealing Cemetery with military rites.
