Clifford Eugene Dicken, 83 of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away June 12, 2015 in the Westwood Hills Healthcare Center. He was born August 14, 1931 in Harviell, Missouri to the late Wiloby Dicken and Alice Bellamy Dicken.
He was married to Leah Lou Jackson and she preceded his in death on August 13, 1970 and then He married Thelma Ruth she also preceded him and on September 5, 1992 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri he was married to Leota Epps. She survives.
Also surviving are his children; Steve Dicken of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Kenny Dicken and wife Nancy of Neelyville, Missouri, Mike Dicken and wife Lisa of Mason City, Iowa, Step children; Joy Whitaker of California, Missouri, Gay Berthold and husband Ricky and Melody Berthold and husband Randy all of Perry, Missouri and Richard Spradley Jr. and wife Kathleen of Evans Georgia. Two grandchildren; Joseph and wife Alice and Steven and three great grandchildren; Holden, Henry and Kara as well as 12 step grandchildren and 20 step great grandchildren.
He is also survived by four sisters; Maxine Ice and Barbara Winters both of poplar Bluff, Missouri, Frieda Blagg of Harviell, Missouri and Brenda Deese of Tennessee. Two brothers, Curt Dicken and wife Wada of Poplar Bluff, Mo and Richard Dicken and wife Kay of Paragould, Arkansas.
Mr. Dicken was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lela Lou as well as one son; Frank Dicken and three brothers, Roy, Eldon, and Jimmy Dicken
He enjoyed cattle farming and his cows. He had served In the United States Navy during the Korean War.
Visitation for Mr. Dicken will be June 15, 2015, starting at 6:00 p.m. in the Fowler-Sullivan Memorial Chapel in Neelville, Missouri. Funeral will be June 16, 2015 starting at 1:00 p.m. in the Neelyville chapel. Burial will be in the Dicken Cemetery with Mike Dicken and Rev. Jimmy Gilbert officiating.
