Cloyce "Dean" Bilbrey

Cloyce "Dean" Bilbrey, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away, Saturday, July 9, 2016, at his home. He was born May 25, 1932, in Shook, Mo., to the late Earl Bilbrey and Thelma (Childress) Bilbrey. He worked in timber logging and raised cattle. He enjoyed riding horses and running his dogs, and dearly loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. On March 26, 1955, he married Mary (Alford) Bilbrey in Hernando, Ms. She survives of the home. Together they shared 61 yeas of marriage. He is also survived by three daughters, Teresa Phelps, Dennise (Allen) Barker, Bobbie (Doug) Hon and a son, Tim Bilbrey; his grandchildren, Charlie (Taylor) Barker, Justin Barker and Dylan Barker, Bucky (Amanda) Hon, Shannon (Matthew) Sparks, Charles Hon, Michael Hon and Mary (Vernon) Davidson; as well as his great-grandchildren, CJ Hon, Tanis Sparks, Rylee Sparks, Porter Hon and Quentin Hon. His son-in-law, Basil Phelps, also preceded him in death. Visitation for Mr. Bilbrey was held a 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. A graveside service and interment followed at 12 noon in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Murray officiating.
